We collect only what is essential: your device identifier, purchase information, and aggregate data usage statistics. We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, phone number, browsing history, app usage, or location data. By using Simlio, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services:

  • Device Identifier: A unique device ID used solely for our backend systems to identify your device and as a customer identifier for RevenueCat (our payment processor). This device ID is automatically generated by your device and does not contain personal information. We do not share your device ID with eSIM suppliers.
  • Purchase Information: Transaction details and purchase history processed through RevenueCat, which integrates with Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This includes product IDs, purchase dates, and transaction IDs.
  • eSIM Usage Data: Data consumption information (amount of data used) provided by our eSIM suppliers. We only receive aggregate data usage statistics (e.g., total data consumed, remaining data). We do not have access to your browsing history, apps or services you use, your location or GPS data, or any content of your internet activity.

We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal details. We do not track your browsing behavior, app usage, or location.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect solely for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our eSIM services
  • To process your purchases and manage your eSIM subscriptions through RevenueCat
  • To display your data usage statistics (total and remaining data) from eSIM suppliers
  • To associate purchases with your device for account management
  • To detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized purchases
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
  • To provide customer support when needed

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or any other commercial purposes. We do not share your device ID or purchase information with third parties except as necessary to process payments through RevenueCat and the app stores.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your information to third parties. We share minimal information only in the following circumstances:

  • RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to process in-app purchases. RevenueCat receives your device ID (used as a customer identifier) and purchase transaction information.
  • App Stores: Purchase transactions are processed through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), which have their own privacy policies.
  • eSIM Suppliers: We share only the necessary eSIM plan details with eSIM suppliers to provision and activate your eSIM plans. We do not share your device ID with eSIM suppliers.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure authentication and authorization processes, regular security assessments and updates, and limited access to personal information on a need-to-know basis.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
